Netaji Azad Hind Fauj Smarak Nyas (NAHFSN): Trust
Netaji- Azad Hind Fauj Smarak Nyas was sponsored by Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP). The Nyas owes its origin to a flag yatra by a dozen workers of the ABPSSP, from Moirang (Manipur) to the Red Fort in Delhi, in April 1997. The impressive and deeply symbolic flag hoisting ceremony within the precincts of the Red Fort culminated in a resolve to meaningfully engage in activities designed to perpetuate the memory of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his Indian National Army (INA) and undertakes programmes aimed at actualizing Netaji’s vision of free India.
The following events are conducted by the Nyas :-
a) Netaji Subhash Jyanti is conducted every year on his Birth Anniversary on 23rd Jan in various Schools and Colleges to make the youth of the country aware of the important role played by him during the Independence movement and unique sacrifices made by him in the interest of Nation.
b) Moirang Yatra ( 14th April ) is conducted every year with the aim of hoisting the National flag at Moirang on 14th April, in remembrance of the martyred soldiers of the Netaji’s Force (INA) and by paying tribute to the Netaji at his memorial, there.
Netaji’s Vision is our Mission
The Nyas seeks and invites wider association with individuals and organizations which are already working or wish to work together for making India a truly great nation.
